A month ago, I was driving from Los Angeles down to Oceanside, California; I drove down to film with Vox shoes. On my drive down I had these ideas building up in my brain about this cross country camping trip, from Lowell, Massachusetts to California. So I gave my buddy Eliott Vechhia a shout. I talked him through my rough ideas reguarding what I thought we should get into for the next month. He seemed a bit unsure at first about being crammed into my honda for a month. Soon all my ideas were made into our “Where The Vox Are We” cross country plan. Two days before we started the trip, not knowing if we would even have a filmer, I get a text from elliot, “I’m def.ly down to go”. It was a 24 day trip with one wicked dude. Elliot shreds the North East and kills it with his edits. He put in endless hours of editing, beating deadlines and constantly trying to produce something. You could call this guy Gary, Dad, Vechhee Vineyard, or Boss; He’s running things for the North East. Where the VOX are we? Cascades to Raleigh
The second update in our 25 day cross country skate mission, We start at ancient cascades and end up with Dan Murphy in Raleigh North Carolina. Big thanks to Dan for making our stay in Raleigh a success.

Fritz Mead, Elliott Vechhia, & I Decided it would be a awesome way to spend the last day of the trip to camp right next to the Golden Gate over at Bakers’s beach. 2 hours after settling in we saw two little lights walking towards us. That was the end of that fun mission. We did end up driving up north and camping along the side of the road. Awesome nights in San Francisco

We had a great time in Albuquerque thanks to Daniel Machon who took the time to show us around, This place is filled with ditches , more ditches than we had time to skate. Cant wait to come back!

Where the VOX are we? Part 1 : BOSTON TO DC
We spent the first few days skating Boston , MA, trying to hit as many spots as we could before we shipped out to Philly for a few days, We stayed with Jake Todd out side Philadelphia for a couple days then moved on to the DC-Baltimore area. The first part of the trip went well , stay tuned for more updates coming soon!

Where the VOX are we? DAVE’S CIVIC :
When Dave called me up and said he wanted to do a cross country trip I was like “YES!” , then when he told me it would be 4 of us in his civic with all our gear I was like “thats gonna be tight”. Then all of the sudden he texts me with the news that Matt Fennel is coming too, and I thought , THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE. Somehow we have made it halfway across this great nation with 5 dudes and all our gear (sleeping bags, tents, cameras, clothes, boards) in a HONDA CIVIC. Matt is flying home tomorrow, He will be missed, but were all looking forward to the extra space.
